Are your recipes tested?
Yes—our recipes are tested before publishing. That said, results can vary depending on ingredients, equipment, oven calibration, altitude, and technique.

Can I substitute ingredients?
Often, yes. Substitutions may change taste, texture, and timing. If you’re not sure, leave a comment on the recipe post and tell us what you’d like to swap—we’ll do our best to help.

Why didn’t my recipe turn out?
Common causes include measuring differences, ingredients at the wrong temperature, over/under-mixing, and oven temperature being off. Please leave a comment on the recipe page with details (what you changed, your pan size, and bake time), and we’ll troubleshoot with you.
